XBoxes in exchange for Guns, Mexico City

Mexican  government install a social program to remove guns from the streets; this program consist in the exchange of Microsoft XBoxes, Personal Computers or money for illegal guns.  Police spoke man Ricardo Olayo said that the first day of the program 17 guns were handed in. Yesterday four people were killed in the streets of Monterey including a chief police officer. At least 20 police and ex-police officers have been killed in drug violence this year in Monterrey. When are going to stop the killings in this city? What government is doing ?
